The wind Gods certainly delivered for what was truly an epic week of wing foiling.
Rolling out of bed and down the hill to a relaxing breakfast, coming round on Moroccan tea and coffee, waking the senses just in time for the daily video de-brief before heading out onto the water and putting theory into practice.
A day out in the elements finished off with a sundowner and a hearty meal. Mix in an offshore sandstorm morning, good banter amongst a terrific group who travelled far and wide to make it, lorry loads of learning, and the result, a near perfect groundhog day of a week
Near zero to hero brilliant progress from knees through woffing and onto first flights. First gybes being banged out all over the lagoon accompanied by solid toe side runs. We had first tacks, duck gybes, Heineken gybes, 360s, pumping, jumping and even Starfish! All washed down with the inevitable tumbles, dunkings, laughter and the odd obscenity!
You can’t ask for more.
