The Spin Doctor
Now that you’ve become mad, bad and rad, showing off your elevation skills, it’s probably time to add a few rotations to really get yourself coca hoop.
Possible Course content:
- Body fundamentals
- Kite principles
- Body and kite relationship
- Front loop
- Back loop
The front and back loops are two very different moves, some people find the back easier, some the front. Either way, these moves are your ticket to a real superstardom.
You’ll be looking at how the approach and take off vary, depending on your intended stylish move. Your flight time will also involve more than waving at the admiring grannies on the sea wall. Understanding the way different parts of your body and/or kite position can affect the move – speeding up or slowing down the rotation. Once you have mastered spins, they can open the door to a medley of cheeky routines such as transitions and 1 footed rotations.
Typically this clinic will include interactive analysis, on the simulator, on the water and from video footage. Your kit will also be scrutinized to ensure that you are not fighting it and that it is set up to perfection. Customised feedback will enable you to not only improve on the day but also give you personal goals to take away and work on.
