Even if you have flown kites or are accomplished at any other board sport, it is still a must to start off at the beginning. No matter how good any kiter you see has become, it is comforting to know that they were a newbie once!
A BKSA level 1 and 2 course is the ultimate way to approach this exciting sport. The aim of this course is to get you to a stage where you are self-sufficient, safe and confident enough to go and practice on your own. You’ll not only become proficient with a kite, learning to body drag, launch and land safely but you will learn a bit of theory too. Harking back to early geography lessons you’ll be recapping on weather and tides and some other important factors which will help keep you safe throughout your kitesurfing journey. By the end of this 2 day course some of you will end up riding 500m, others 5m, your pace will dictate.
We only teach 2 students to 1 of us, so your time actually being coached and looked after is truly maximised. If you’re just starting out but don’t have the time or desire to share your lesson we also offer private beginner courses.
